The Aztec sunstone is the most famous sculpture of the Aztecs. The stone is the product of a highly developed culture. The back features a pyramid and a spell relating to the Mayan Doomsday Prophecy. This prophecy was a driving force behind the 2012 phenomenon of eschatological beliefs.
