How to use

1. When to Plant : Spring and fall are the best times to grow new grass, planting or repairing in the spring is best when the weather is consistently above 50 degrees Fahrenheit, planting or repairing should be done in the fall completed six to eight weeks before temperatures drop below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. DO NOT LAY DURING PERIODS OF STRONG WIND .
   
   
2. Preparation : As with planting any type of seed, proper preparation of the area is essential, do not lay the grass seed mat over existing grass or vegetation.
   
   
3. Set up : The Grass Seed Mat is always supplied as a roll and can be cut to size or shape by tearing or cutting with scissors, for example if you have suffered a semi-circular spot from your pet, tear or cut the Grass Seed Mat. size of the damaged area to be repaired.
   
   
4. Watering : Proper watering is key to the growth of your grass, once you are happy with the turf, and the area to be repaired has been filled or the roll has been rolled out to the desired area, water thoroughly with a spray nozzle. Do not apply a powerful jet of water to the turf. Water 2 to 3 times a day to keep the slab wet until the new seeds begin to grow and the blades of grass reach a height of 2 inches. In this stadium it is good to mow along with the rest of your grass. When in doubt, use more water rather than less, but do not mow when the new young grass is wet as it can 'pull' and damage the new roots.
